CALAIS BROWN is a popular session guitarist, known for his expertise and ability to get the right sound for each of the songs THE FLAVOURS performs. Calais also plays dobro, mandolin and lap steel guitar. Now an accomplished producer and studio engineer, he has a stable of young artists in development, releasing their new material and showcasing their new music. Having spent years in bands and recording studios, Cal has toured regularly with American artists such as The Mavericks. His breadth of talent encompasses Americana, Country, Blues, Scottish Folk, Pop and Rock, with a particular flair for Hendrix and the Stones. Calais runs his own recording and rehearsal facility called 'The Sound Station', where he mentors a range of promising talent.
